Owner/Licensed Professional Counselor
I am honored to work with all kinds of individuals, couples, and families looking to make life improvements, transition through challenging times, and reach their full potential.
I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania. I then completed my Master of Science in Clinical and Counseling Psychology with a Specialization in Addictions Counseling from Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia. I also achieved my Professional Counseling Licensure in 2005.
My 25 years of experience working in community mental health has empowered me to meet each individual I work with where they are. My ideal client is motivated, intuitive, focused, improvement-oriented, and committed to achieving their goals. They prioritize self-reflection, embrace constructive feedback, and are open to new perspectives. With a growth mindset, they thrive in a collaborative environment, fostering a strong partnership that drives meaningful progress.
My services are client driven. You are the expert on your life and I am here to walk beside you through your journey. Together, we'll explore your unique challenges, celebrate your triumphs, and uncover the hidden strengths that will propel you forward. With empathy, understanding, and a non-judgmental ear, I'll provide a safe and supportive space for you to express yourself freely. My role is not to dictate or advise, but to empower you with the tools, resources, and guidance you need to make informed decisions that align with your values and goals. By honoring your autonomy and agency, I'll help you tap into your inner wisdom, build confidence, and cultivate a deeper sense of self-awareness. Let's embark on this transformative journey together, and may it be a testament to the incredible potential that lies within you.
My areas of focus are anxiety and depression management, grief and loss, and life transitions. Through empathetic and non-judgmental support, I help individuals navigate the complexities of their emotional landscapes, empowering them to break free from the shackles of anxiety and depression. By providing a safe and compassionate space, I guide those who have experienced grief and loss to process their emotions, find meaning, and rediscover purpose.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling with my husband, reading, hiking and spending time with our two pugs, Oscar and Fiona.
